TEXARKANA, Ark. - During its regular meeting Monday, the city Board of Directors will consider refinancing bonds issued in 2012 and 2015 to lower debt service spending.

The Board will vote on a resolution authorizing the move, which would save the city a total of about $1 million over the life of the bonds, according to Finance Director TyRhonda Henderson. The measure is the only action item on the meeting's agenda.

The meeting is scheduled for 4 p.m. Monday and will be conducted using the Zoom online meeting application. It will be live streamed on the city's YouTube channel.
