TEXARKANA, Texas - Police here have a felony warrant for Raequeon Jackson, who is wanted on a charge of burglary of a habitation.

At the end of June, police were dispatched to a home on Old Boston Road after a neighbor saw two men shatter the back door and go inside an apartment, according to a Texarkana Texas Police Department account. The witness said that the two suspect jumped into a waiting dark-colored car moments later and sped off before police got there. The victim reported two gaming systems and some cash missing from her
home.

Police were able to locate some video from a nearby home's surveillance system that showed the car, but it wasn't clear enough to make out a license plate. Detective Aaron Wafford
later got a tip that Jackson was one of the two men allegedly involved and the car in the video belonged to Jackson's
girlfriend.

A few days later, Wafford and Detective Cliff Harris located the girlfriend's car at her apartment and were able to match its rather distinctive features with the one that they'd seen in the video. They briefly spoke with Jackson's girlfriend that day, and she confirmed that he regularly drives her car. She said he was out of town at work at the time, so they asked her to have Jackson contact them about the case as soon as
possible.

According to TTPD accounts, Jackson allegedly called Wafford the next day and scheduled a meeting but never showed for their meeting.

Police prepared a probable cause affidavit outlining Jackson's alleged involvement in this burglary and a judge issued an arrest warrant for him in
August.
