Texarkana Texas Police used spikes Friday night to try and stop a semi truck that was fleeing an accident scene.
The truck rammed an Arkansas State Police unit before fleeing westbound where TTPD spiked it when it passed through town, said Shawn Vaughn spokesman for TTPD.
The spikes were used near Richmond Road but the pursuit continued and the truck was reportedly passed through Titus County, Frankin County and into Hopkins County where law enforcement again set up spikes, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The truck was stopped at the 111 mile marker on Interstate-30, Vaughn said.
