TEXARKANA, Ark. - Battalion One of Texarkana Arkansas Fire Department, assisted by police and fire support from other parts of the city, responded to a fire at TLC shortly after 8 p.m. Saturday. Firefighters began their point of attack on the fire at an Olive Street side entrance of the restaurant. After about 45 minutes of work, they had extinguished the blaze. At that point, they were letting smoke escape the building.

"We are not sure how the fire started at this point," said TAFD Capt. Adam Grayson, on-scene commander and commander of Battalion One that evening. "We have determined that the fire seems to have started around the AC (air conditioning) units and seems pretty much to have been confined there. Most of the damage in the rest of the building is smoke damage. No one was hurt."
