Several Interstate 30 exit ramps will be closed this week because of construction.
The ramp at I-30 East to Interstaten369/U.S.Highway 59 South will be closed until 6 a.m. Tuesday, according to a news release from the Texas Department of Transportation Atlanta District. The ramp at I-30 West to I-369/U.S.59 South will be closed from 8 p.m. Wednesday until 6 a.m. Thursday.
The contractor for the I-30 project is planning to replace the crash cushion attenuators at the I-30/I-369 ramps at night, according to the news release. To do the work, the ramps will be closed. Motorists will need to use alternate routes to get to I-369/US 59 South. Portable message boards have been placed near the work area to warn motorists of the closures. Weather conditions or other unforeseen problems could cause closure times to change or be postponed.
