SHREVEPORT, La. - From Agilisaurus to Triceratops, T-Rex to Velociraptor and Apatosaurus to Stegosaurus, a herd of dinosaurs will park their magnificent selves at the Shreveport Convention Center this weekend.
Take a drive south and stand with these mighty creatures who once roamed the Earth.
With massive, photo-realistic, life-like, animatronic specimens, the Jurassic Quest dinosaur exhibit starts today and runs through Sunday, showcasing more than 100 dinosaurs of all types and sizes.
Dinosaur-themed rides, shows, interactive art and science activities, a "Triceratots" play area and more all add to the special, dino-mite experience.
Jurassic Quest has toured the continent since 2013, according to a press release from Jurassic Quest. The exhibit includes dinosaurs from the Cretaceous, Jurassic and Triassic periods.
Open hours to the public are 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. COVID-19 safety measures will be in place and timed entry.
Cost for entry for off-peak and peak hours is as follows: $19 and $22 for children and adults; $18 and $20 for seniors; $33 and $36 for unlimited rides and entry for children; $5 for activity tickets on site; $15 for premium activities such as animal art tattoos and green screen photos.
Off-peak hours are all day on weekdays and after 3 p.m. on weekends. Children under 2 years of age are admitted free.
Jurassic Quest will also visit Little Rock, Arkansas, Oct. 8 through Oct. 10 at the Statehouse Convention Center.
