Francis Dell Weir of Texarkana, Texas passed away Saturday, November 30, 2019 in Simms, Texas. She was 75. Francis was born January 3, 1944, in Crockett, Texas, to Luther Nichols and Hazel Juanita Owens Dunn. She was the Co-owner and Operator of Weir Fuel Tank Removal and Installation. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward Earl Weir, Sr.; and one son, Edward E. Weir, Jr. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Dell Ann and Jeff Widemon of De Kalb, Texas, Jeanie and Jodie McCuller of Simms, Texas, Tommy and Angeila Weir of Simms, Texas, and Angela Weir-Martin and Thearties Martin of Texarkana, Texas; three sisters and one brother, Lela Lloreda of Biloxi, Mississippi, Lawrence Dunn and his wife, Virginia of Murchison, Texas, Karen Huffman and her husband, David of LaQuinta, California, and Teresa Cole and her husband, B.J. of Palestine, Texas; thirteen grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; special friends, Donald and Nina Sitton and Rick and Kay Middleton; and numerous other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas with Jodie McCuller officiating.
