Lillian 'Bernice' HONEA

Mrs. Lillian Bernice Honea was born September 18, 1929, in Texarkana, Texas, and went to be with her Lord on Saturday, December 7, 2019. She was a member of Cathedral Heights Church of the Nazarene and was a retired bookkeeper from Collom and Carney Clinic and Dr. Barry Green's office. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-one years, Bobbie L. Honea. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Bobby G. and Jeanne Honea of Texarkana, Arkansas, one daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Jay Atherton of Amarillo, Texas, one brother and sister-in-law, Clayton and Sharon Fant of Mount Pleasant, Texas, five grandchildren, Cindy Cummings and Darren, Chad Honea and Misty, Taylor Davis, Amanda Foreman and Anderson, Emmalee Atherton, and nine great-grandchildren. A celebration of her life will be at 1:00 P. M. Wednesday at the Cathedral Heights Church of the Nazarene with Rev. John Hobson officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 PM until 8 PM Tuesday.
