Billy Francis Lunceford

Billy Francis Lunceford, of New Boston, Texas, passed away Monday, March 30, 2020 at a Texarkana, Texas care facility. He was 88. Bill was born June 5, 1931, in Brownfield, Texas, to Dolie Newton and Trannie Bell Blanton Lunceford. He was a salesman for Coca Cola and a member of Graceway Baptist Church in New Boston, Texas. He was a dog trainer and enjoyed coon hunting with his favorite dog, "Molly". Bill was a veteran of the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Barbara Lunceford; four brothers, two sisters; and one special nephew, Butch Lunceford. He is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Robbi and John Snowden of New Boston, Texas, Kay and Travis Allen of Wake Village, Texas, and Micki and Robert Usrey of Texarkana, Texas; four grandchildren and their spouses, Scott and Amy Usrey, Kari and Kody Waters, Jena and Quinton Jones, and Karly and Michael Ranck; seven great grandchildren, Brett Usrey and his wife Kelsey, Katelyn Allen, Brooke Usrey, Bailey Usrey, Kooper Waters, Kennedy Waters, Dallas John Jones, and one on the way; three great-great grandchildren, Emma Rutledge, Grayson Rutledge, and Reid Usrey; and numerous other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Private family graveside services will be under the direction of Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas. Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
