MICHAEL HARMON

Michael Lynn Harmon of New Boston, Texas passed away Thursday, March 26, 2020 at a Texarkana, Texas hospital. He was 53 years old. Michael was born May 27, 1966, in Texarkana, Texas, to George Arlie and Jonna L. England Harmon. He was a Certified Public Accountant for Bowie-Cass Electric Coop and formerly for Alcoa/Alumax. He was a member of the Texas Association of CPA's and Tapp Memorial UMC in New Boston, Texas. He loved and supported his family. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Mary England and Bertha Cowley Harmon and Jepp Lewis Harmon. He is survived by his wife, Ann Harmon of New Boston, Texas; parents, George and Jonna Harmon of New Boston, Texas; two sons, Jeremy Harmon and Drew Harmon both of Austin, Texas; one daughter, Amy Johnson of New Boston, Texas; two brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Cindy Harmon of Alexandria, Arkansas and Chris and Melody Harmon of Texarkana, Texas; one niece, Elizabeth Harmon; four nephews, Jacob Harmon, Aaron Harmon, Luke Harmon, and Ben Harmon; and numerous other relatives and friends. Private family graveside services will be under the direction of Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas.
