DARRYL DAVIS SR.

Mr. Darryl William Davis, Sr. 57, of Texarkana, Texas expired Sunday, April 04, 2021 in a Texarkana, Texas hospital. Mr. Davis was born May 31, 1963 to the late Cora Hooper Walker. Darryl graduated from Arkansas High School in 1982. Upon completion of high school he joined the Army where he served his country. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and uncle to all. Darryl was a hard worker until his health failed and he departed this life. He leaves to cherish memories; his fiancée, Tina Shaw; two daughters, Mieko McHenry and LaKisha Davis; two sons, Darryl Davis, Jr. and Dontn Shaw; two sisters, Nita (Earnest) Cheatham and Renia (Mike) Benton; three brothers, Doug (Vicki) Davis, Paul (Toni) Davis and Wilbert Walker; grandchildren, Jacorian, Braylon, Braxtyn, Brycen and Lorelai and host of other relatives and friends. A walk through visitation will be from 4:00-6:00 p.m., Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Lyles Funeral Home, Inc. Viewing, Friday, April 09, 2021, at Chapelwood Memorial Garden from 10:00-11:00 a.m. A graveside homegoing celebration honoring Mr. Davis's life will be held, Friday, 11:00 am. at Chapelwood Memorial Garden with Rev. Kenneth Reid, Sr. officiating. Interment with military rites will follow in Chapelwood Memorial Garden, Texarkana, TX. under direction of Lyles Funeral Home, Inc.
