Bobbie Stone Easley, age 87 of Texarkana, Arkansas, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, January 11, 2021. She was born on May 7, 1933 to Ruby and Vernie Stone in Texarkana, Arkansas and was a lifetime resident of Texarkana. She was an active member of Cornerstone Baptist Church (formerly Calvary Baptist Church) and its choir. She was a graduate of Arkansas High School and spent her 30-year career at Regions Bank (formerly State First National Bank). She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother, and her family was the light of her life. Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents, her twin brother Billy Stone, and her sister Anita Stone Sedgass. She is survived by her husband of seventy years, Hubert Easley; her daughter Brenda Easley King of Savannah, Georgia; her son and daughter-in-law Brad Easley and wife Rita of Edmond, Oklahoma; her granddaughter and grandson-in-law Stephanie and John Horton of Greenwich, Connecticut; her grandson Tyler Easley of Edmond, Oklahoma; and her twin great-grandsons Dakota Easley Horton and Jackson Low Horton of Greenwich, Connecticut. A private family graveside service will be officiated by Dr. Holder at 3pm on Friday, January 15, 2021 at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, with the burial under the direction of East Funeral Home. Due to the Covid-19 virus there will not be a formal visitation but anyone who would like to stop by East Funeral Home-Downtown Friday from 9:00 A.M. to 1:30 P.M. may do so to see the family video and sign the guest book.
