HARVEY NELSON JR.

Harvey A. Nelson, Jr., 78, of Memphis, TN, died January 3,2021 , from Covid complications. Harvey was predeceased by his parents, Harvey and Lula Nelson of Texarkana. He is survived by his sister, Junie Nelson Young and her husband, Dennis of Texarkana, nephews, Rob Young (Molly) of Springfield, OH, and Mark Young (Lindsay) of Little Rock, AR. Harvey was born in Richmond, VA, on June 29, 1942. He lived in Texarkana most of his early life before moving to Memphis in 1986 where he has lived since. He was a 1960 graduate of Arkansas High School and attended Henderson State University in Arkadelphia. In Texarkana, Harvey worked with his father at the John Deere dealership, known then as Garland Implement Company. Per Harvey's wishes, his ashes have been spread at places dear to him. No services are planned at this time.
