STANLEY ROGERS

Stanley Dewayne Rogers, 73 of Texarkana, Texas, formerly of Holly Springs, Arkansas departed this earth on June 9, 2021. He was born May 26, 1948 to Hugh and Amy Rogers. He moved to Hooks, Texas where he graduated in 1966. He soon joined the United States Air Force where he served as Sergeant until 1973. He went on to work at Red River Army Depot until he retired. Stanley was preceded in death by his parents and the love of his life, Sherri Rogers. He is survived by his only son, Kevin and wife Shalisa of Wake Village, Texas, grandchildren Waylon Rogers, Cole Burton, Peyton, Karah and Kaylee Gore, one brother Richard and wife Martha Rogers, of Jonesville, Michigan and one sister Fran McDaniel of Haughton, Louisiana. Graveside services will be held Saturday June 12, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at New Holly Springs Cemetery in Holly Springs, Arkansas. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
