JOE PENNEY

Joe Edd Penney of Ben Lomond, Arkansas passed away September 12, 2021. He was born February 15, 1937. He was 84 years old. He was devoted to attending church and reading the bible every day. He loved visiting with his many friends and working on the ranch. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dosier John Penney and Kathleen Penney and sister, Betty Ann Britt. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Janice Cooper Penney, two children, Jed Penney and wife Teri and Amy Penney and husband Zabed Monika; two sisters, Ruth Penney Bell and husband Buddy and Martha Trusley and husband John; four grandchildren, Sutton Penney, Erica Penney, Seth Penney, and Olivia Monika, and many beloved nieces and nephews. Service will be at the 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at the Ben Lomond Cumberland Presbyterian Church, in Ben Lomond, Arkansas. Burial will follow at the Ben Lomond Cemetery with Billy Hatridge and Herman Welch officiating, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen. Pallbearers will be Ron Smith, Russell Smith, Jake Day, Jerad Day, Stacy Day, Tracy Gentry and honorary pallbearer Tye Gentry.
