Harold Wesley Davis (Wes) age 74 of Texarkana Arkansas, passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021. Wes was born on September 28, 1946 to Rev. Thomas S. and Ida Davis in Mena, Arkansas. Wes served his country in the United States Coast Guard, and later gained much recognition as a top salesman in insurance for several years. Wes later became a master electrician and plumber which he applied as an accomplished and successful Millwright for several years. Wes along with his wife, Pat rescued many wild animals and nursing them to health; and working with other wildlife agencies successfully returned many animals back to their natural habitat. They were also were active members of the Nature Conservancy to preserve natural lands.* He is preceded in death by his eldest son, David Wayne Davis and three siblings, Dorothy Ann Davis, Thomas S. Davis, Jr. and Edward Davis. Wes is survived by his wife of 47 years, Patricia Davis, his son, Daniel Gonzales, and three daughters: Laura Cribs and her husband, Kenneth; Lori McClarey and husband, Brian; and Tami Thompson and husband, Mark; ten grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Charles Davis and his wife, Susan; his sister, Judikay Abigail Humes and husband Ralph. Formal funeral services will not be held as family is having a private memorial instead. Respects may be given to the family.
