FRANCES BERRY

LEONARD, Texas—Frances M. Berry, 88, of Trenton, Texas, died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2008, in a Denison, Texas, hospital. <br />Mrs. Berry was born Feb. 21, 1920, in Texarkana, Texas. She was a retired teacher and a member of Texas Retired Teachers Association, American Legion Auxiliary, First United Methodist Church and Crossroads Presbyterian Church, Desert, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest E. Berry. <br />Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Sherry Kirkland of Trenton; one brother, Richard Moores of Amarillo, Texas; one sister-in-law, Lola Childress of Celeste, Texas; two grandsons, Craig Donihoo and Kody Kirkland of Trenton; one niece and nephew-in-law, Heather and Drew Bennett of Springfield, Mo.; one nephew and niece-in-law, Loy and Jan Kirkland of Frisco, Texas; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 10 a.m. today at First United Methodist Church, Leonard, with the Revs. David Sharp and Scott Leslie officiating.
