JOSEPHINE DOOLEY

Josephine Allen “Mamaw” Dooley, 84, of Texarkana, Texas, died Sunday, Feb. 24, 2008, in Hooks, Texas. <br />Mrs. Dooley was born Oct. 27, 1923, in Bigelow, Ark. She was an accounting clerk, owner of Tots to Teens Day Care Center, a home health care provider and a member of Highland Park Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Elmer Dooley; and one son, Robert Olan “Bobby” Dooley Sr. <br />Survivors include two sisters, Clara Stokes of Zavallo, Texas, and Helen Strassler of Bigelow; four grandchildren, Robert Olan Dooley Jr. and Ronald Gene Dooley of Texarkana, Deborah Lynn Hicks of Hooks, Texas, and William Joseph Gage of Douglassville, Texas; six great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Chapelwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Stephanie Hughes officiating. Burial will be in East Memorial Gardens. <br />Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br />Relatives will be at the home of Deborah Hicks, 2022 CR 2111, Hooks. <br />Online registration is at www.chapelwoodfuneralhome.com. <br />
