RUDOLPH BERGT

Rudolph Hugo Bergt, 86, of Texarkana, Texas, died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2007. <br />Mr. Bergt was born Feb. 27, 1921, in Texarkana, Texas. He was a retired home builder, a member of Disabled American Veterans Post 222 and Buchanan First Baptist Church, where he was deacon chairman, and a World War II Army veteran. <br />Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Bergt of Texarkana; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sue and Jimmy Attebury of Hot Springs, Ark., and Nettie and Wilbur Cox of Texarkana; two brothers, Otto Bergt and Jasper Bergt; one sister, Dolly Brownelle; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 11 a.m. today at Buchanan First Baptist Church with the Rev. Don Brazile officiating.
