ASHDOWN, Ark.—Earsie Viola Davis, 75, of Ashdown died Friday, July 25, 2008, in a local hospital. <br />Mrs. Davis was born June 27, 1933, in Foreman, Ark. She was a member of Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by one son, Lonnie Lee Davis. <br />Survivors include three sons, James E. Davis Jr. and Willie G. Wilderof Texarkana and Steven Brown of Tom, Okla.; four daughters, Mattlene Miller and April Thurston of Texarkana, Earline Jackson of Dallas and Angela M. Blakeney of Heidelberg, Germany; three brothers, John H. Wilder of Mount Pleasant, Texas, Chester Wilder of Tulsa, Okla., and Jestell Wilder of Sacramento; one sister, Veanna Royal of Sacramento; 21 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at St. Rest Baptist Church, Ashdown, with the Rev. Clevester Rolfe officiating. Burial will be in Piney Grove Cemetery under direction of Hamburg Funeral Home. <br />Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the church. <br />
