BILLY SAMUEL <br />Billy Charles Samuel, 54, of Texarkana, Texas, died Monday, June 23, 2008, in a local nursing home. <br />Mr. Samuel was born March 19, 1954, in Waldo, Ark. He was retired from Wadley Regional Medical Center. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Joyce Reader. <br />Survivors include five sons, Billy Reader and Justin Samuel of Arlington, Texas, and Jercarlos Hawkins, Albert Cox and Johnson Perkins of Texarkana; four daughters, Jacqueline Reader, LaSheika Willis and Brenda Cox of Texarkana and Latasha Troupe of Arlington; his father and stepmother, Hughey P. and Erma Samuel of Dallas; two brothers, Earl Marshall and Hughey P. Samuel Jr.; four sisters, Alma French, Matricia Ford and Wanda Samuel Jemison of Texarkana and Sonja L. Samuel; 14 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. <br />Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Haynes Funeral Home with the Rev. L.B. George officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens. <br />Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br />Online registration is at www.haynesmortuary.com. <br /> <br />
