BRADY SHUMATE

MOUNT PLEASANT, Texas—Brady Scott Shumate, 40, of Richardson, Texas, died Thursday, Sept. 25, 2008, in a Richardson hospital. <br />Mr. Shumate was born July 7, 1968, in Mount Pleasant. He was a pipe fitter and a member of Boilermakers Association and South Side Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by one son, Jonathan Grissom. <br />Survivors include two daughters, Haley Shumate and April Shumate of Talco, Texas; his father, Jesse Shumate of Mount Pleasant; his mother, Collette Davis Shumate of Mediana, Texas; one sister and brother-in-law, Shanna and Robert Fitzgerald of Plano, Texas; and an aunt and uncle, Danny and Martha Davis of Texarkana. <br />Graveside services will be 2 p.m. today at Farmers Academy Cemetery, Mount Pleasant, with Richard Brown officiating. Burial will be under direction of Bates-Cooper-Sloan Funeral Home. <br /> <br />
