MILDRED POSEY

Mildred Posey, 87, of Texarkana, Texas, died Friday, April 10, 2009, in a local nursing home. <br />Mrs. Posey was born Nov. 29, 1921, in McKinney, Texas. She was retired from Texarkana Texas ISD. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rush Posey; one daughter; and one son. <br />Survivors include one son, Sonny Rishel of Texarkana; three granddaughters, Shonday Peek of New Boston, Texas, Nicole Holcomb of Garland, Texas, and Karen Cathron of Oklahoma City; two grandsons, Dave Smith and Dale Smith; and a number of other relatives. <br />Private services will be at a later date under direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home. <br /> <br />
