ALOISE SILMAN

Aloise Irene Mitchell Silman, 94, of Texarkana, Texas, died Friday, April 10, 2009, in a Texarkana nursing home. <br />Mrs. Silman was born Oct. 15, 1914, in Cass County, Texas. She was a retired salesperson and buyer with Dillard’s and a member of Pleasant Grove Christian Church. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Ray Mitchell and Victor Silman. <br />Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Joey Sul-livan of Texarkana and Jane and Lanny Chasteen of Katy, Texas; two stepsons and stepdaughters-in-law, Joe and Cynthia Silman of San Antonio and Gary and Suzie Silman of Fort Worth, Texas; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. <br />Services will be 10 a.m. today at Chapelwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Sims officiating.
