ALOUISE HAGGARD

LINDEN, Texas—Alouise “Snooks” Haggard, 88, of Linden died Saturday, April 11, 2009, in Atlanta. <br />Mrs. Haggard was born Oct. 18, 1920, in Linden. She was a member of Helping Hands with Linden Healthcare Center and First Baptist Church, Linden. She was preceded in death by her husband, C.L. “Burr” Haggard; and one son, James Haggard. <br />Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Martha and Scott Lewis of Midland, Texas; one daughter-in-law, Betty Haggard of Gun Barrel City, Texas; five grandchildren, Steve Lewis, Kyle Haggard, Matt Haggard, Stacy Hudson and Holly Bailey; and 11 great-grandchildren. <br />Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church with Jackie Stanfield and Charles Russell officiating. Burial will be in Linden Cemetery under direction of Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home. <br />Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br />Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Linden, or Linden Cemetery Fund. <br />Online registration is at www.reeder-davis.com.
