BLANCHE BURKETT

CLARKSVILLE, Texas—Blanche Burkett, 92, of Arlington, Texas, died Friday, April 10, 2009, in a Texas hospital. <br />Mrs. Burkett was born Nov. 9, 1916, in Bowie County, Texas. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Burkett; one son, Clarence Burkett Jr.; and one daughter, Valorie Cox. <br />Survivors include one son and two daughters-in-law, Henry and Quilla Burkett of Arlington and Seaneg Burkett of Oklahoma City; one son-in-law, Wayburn Cox of Talco, Texas; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 4 p.m. Tuesday at Clarksville Funeral Home with Steve Cox officiating.
