DOYLE NORMAN

NEW BOSTON, Texas—Doyle Lee Norman, 73, of DeKalb, Texas, died Monday, April 13, 2009, in a Texarkana hospital. <br />Mr. Norman was born Oct. 30, 1935, in Duffy, W.Va. He was retired from the Army. <br />Survivors include his wife, Ann Norman of DeKalb; 10 sons, Edward Rushing and Charles Rushing of Glendive, Ariz., Kenneth Rushing of California, Daniel Rushing and Fred Rushing of Pueblo, Colo., William Rushing of Hooks, Texas, Richard Rushing of Beeville, Texas, Fred Leo Norman of Arizona, Wesley Norman of Tennessee and Doyle Norman Jr. of DeKalb; two daughters, Martie McMillian of DeKalb and Evelyn Bayless of Redwater, Texas; one brother, William Norman of Zanesville, Ohio; two sisters, La Hamilton of Carmichael, Calif., and Caroll Allen of Zanesville; 21 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Memorial services will be 7 p.m. Thursday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, DeKalb, with Ben Ward officiating under direction of Bates-Rolf Funeral Home. <br />Online registration is at www.batesrolffuneralhome.com. <br /> <br />
