JOHN YANCEY

PRESCOTT, Ark.—John C. Yancey, 65, of Prescott died Saturday, April 25, 2009, at his home. <br />Mr. Yancey was born Nov. 26, 1943, in Texarkana, Texas. He was a former administrator of Nevada County Hospital, former lab employee of Robins Chemical Plant, manager of Prescott Country Club and a member of First Baptist Church, Prescott, and the Double Bogey Club. <br />Survivors include his wife, Beverly Blevins Yancey of Prescott; one son, Cody Warren Yancey of Prescott; two daughters and sons-in-law, Casi Lynn Yancey and Dan Hopper of Logansport, Ind., and Kimberly Ann and Kevin Carlton of Bodcaw, Ark.; one sister and brother-in-law, Mary Yancey and Don Ruggles of Texarkana; four grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 4 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church with the Revs. Neal Ridling and Jerry G. Westmoreland officiating. Burial will be in Missionary Grove Cemetery, Nubbin Hill community near Prescott, under direction of Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home. <br />Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br />Memorials may be made to Nevada County Cancer Society, 425 E.
