FERN YORK

NASHVILLE, Ark.—Fern Inez York, 74, of Nashville died Sunday, April 26, 2009, in a Hope, Ark., nursing home. <br />Mrs. York was born Feb. 4, 1935, in Winthrop, Ark. She was a member of THEOS and Center United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac Homer York; and one grandson, Jim Pruden. <br />Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Homer and Linda York of Nashville; one daughter and son-in-law, Twyla Jane and Jerry Pruden of Hope; two brothers, James Rettmann of Oregon and Ed Rettmann of Arizona; two grandsons and one granddaughter-in-law, Kevin and Cindy York of Murfreesboro, Ark., and Isaac Pruden of Hope; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Latimer Funeral Home.
