MARY BLEVINS

Mary Virginia “Ginger” Blevins, 83, of Tyler, Texas, died Saturday, April 25, 2009, in Tyler. <br />Mrs. Blevins was born Jan. 9, 1926, in Malta, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of Eastern Star, Emblem Club and Home Demonstration Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lamar Blevins, in November 2001. <br />Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Sheila Webster of Depoe Bay, Ore., and Donna and Henry Martin of Tyler; five grandchildren, Joel Webster of Burleson, Texas, Ginger Rae Webster of Depoe Bay, Mellisa Karnes of Garland, Texas, James Hockaday of Woodville, Texas, and Jamie Martin of Whitehouse, Texas; seven great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 2 p.m. today at East Funeral Home, Moores Lane, with Herman Epperson officiating.
