TOMMY SUTTON

Tommy Doylas Sutton, 83, of Texarkana, Texas, died Monday, Aug. 3, 2009, in a local hospital. <br />Mr. Sutton was born Sept. 14, 1925, in Ashdown, Ark. He was retired from the Postal Service, a Scottish Rite Mason, a Shriner, prison ministry leader at Federal Correctional Institution, Texarkana, a Gideon, a deacon, Sunday school teacher and member of First Baptist Church, Moores Lane, and a World War II Navy and Air Force veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Sutton. <br />Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and David Levetz of Dallas; one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Patricia Sutton of Dallas; one brother, Albert L. Sutton Jr. of Texarkana; and three grandsons, David Sutton, Greg Sutton and Andrew Sutton of Dallas. <br />Services will be noon today at First Baptist Church, Moores Lane, with the Revs. Larry Sims and Jeff Schreve officiating.
