JAMES WORMINGTON

James Arnold “Doc” Wormington, 92, of Wake Village, Texas, died Friday, Nov. 27, 2009, in a local hospital. <br />Mr. Wormington was born Feb. 22, 1917, in Okolona, Ark. He was a member of House of Prayer. He was preceded in death by one son, Lee Roland Wormington; two grandsons, Randy Gray and Kenneth Kellner; and one granddaughter, Sheryl Wormington. <br />Survivors include his wife, Velma Louise Wormington of Wake Village; two daughters, Patsy Gray and Delya Faye Kellner of California; eight grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 2 p.m. today at East Funeral Home, Downtown, with the Rev. Shad McDonald officiating. Burial will be in East Memorial Gardens. <br />Online registration is at www.mem.com.
