HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas—Enid Viola Carter King, 95, of Hughes Springs died Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009, in a Mount Pleasant, Texas, hospital. <br />Ms. King was born July 26, 1914, in Hughes Springs. She was a teacher in Texas and California and a member of First United Methodist Church, Hughes Springs. <br />Survivors include one son, Terrell Jenkins King of Hughes Springs; two daughters and one son-in-law, Lucy Carolyn and Jess Perez of Dayton, Ohio, and Enid Jane Mazzoni of San Pedro, Calif.; two grandchildren, John King Perez of Weston, Conn., and Morgan Alexis Dent of San Pedro; three great-grandchildren, Luke Perez, Avery Perez and Lexie Perez of Weston; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be held at a later date under direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home. <br />Online registration is at www.reeder-davis.com. <br /> <br />
