BILLY CARLISLE

NAPLES, Texas—Billy Aaron Carlisle, 82, of Naples died Monday, Dec. 14, 2009, at his home. <br />Mr. Carlisle was born June 12, 1927, in Bryans Mill, Texas. He was a rancher, a heavy-equipment mechanic at Lone Star Steel, a member of First Baptist Church, Naples, and an Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Iva Faye Carlisle, in 1988. <br />Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Tammy Carlisle of Daingerfield, Texas, and Don and Teresa Carlisle of Cookville, Texas; one daughter and son-in-law, Kaye and Bill Morris of Conover, N.C.; one sister and two brothers-in-law, Nancy and Mack Montgomery of Texarkana and Raymond Garrett of Naples; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Harrison Funeral Home with the Rev. Barry Brown officiating. Burial will be in Cornett Cemetery. <br />Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
