JAMES DAMM

James Richard Damm, 73, of Hooks, Texas, died Thursday, Dec. 17, 2009, in a local hospital. <br />Mr. Damm was born March 28, 1936, in Indianapolis, Ind. He was a retired machinist, former employee of Texas Instruments Inc., a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Odessa, Texas, a Christian and a Korean War Marine Corps veteran. <br />Survivors include his wife, Annie Damm of Hooks; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff and Trena Damm of Garland, Texas, and Tony and Karabeth Damm of Beaumont, Texas; one daughter and son-in-law, Leslie and Bobby Kennedy of Hooks; one brother, Sam Damm of New Port Richey, Fla.; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens with Dr. Jerry Creek officiating.
