JULIUS REED

HOPE, Ark.—Julius Sylvester Reed, 59, of Chicago, formerly of Emmet, Ark., died Thursday, Dec. 17, 2009, in Emmet. <br />Mr. Reed was born Aug. 20, 1950, in Emmet. He was retired from United Parcel Service and an Army veteran. <br />Survivors include his wife, Lanell Reed of Omaha, Neb.; five sons, Brandon Reed, Justin Reed and Julian Reed of Chicago, Jeffery Reed of Arkadelphia, Ark., and Julius Reed of Omaha; two daughters, Latriece of Minneapolis and Sherese of Chicago; one brother, James Reed of Hope; three sisters, Marva Love and Juanita Walker of Emmet and Saundra Green of Hot Springs, Ark.; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 11 a.m. Wednes-day at Greater St. Paul Baptist Church with Joe King officiating. Burial will be in Snell Cemetery under direction of Hicks Funeral Home. <br />Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br /> <br />
