WILLIE BARBER

HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas—Willie Daniel Barber, 90, of Omaha, Texas, died Friday, Dec. 25, 2009, in a Pittsburg, Texas, nursing home. <br />Mr. Barber was born Jan. 10, 1919, in Titus County, Texas. He was a member of Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church and a World War II Army veteran. <br />Survivors include his children, Dorothy Wade and William Everett of Roxbury, Mass., Willie D. Barber Jr. of Corinth, Texas, Robert Lee Barber of Houston, Willie David Barber of Hawaii and Mary Marie Armstrong of Dallas; one brother, Hurndon Barber of Daingerfield, Texas; two sisters, Mary Dee James of Pittsburg and Annie Lee Jones of Dallas; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Reeder-Davis Funeral Home with Elder Donnie Davis officiating. Burial will be in Whitmore Cemetery, Daingerfield. <br />Visitation will be Tuesday afternoon and evening at the funeral home. <br />Online registration is at www.reeder-davis.com. <br /> <br />
