DAVID DAWSON

David Allen Dawson, 53, of Texarkana, Texas, died Monday, Dec. 28, 2009, at his home. <br />Mr. Dawson was born Oct. 23, 1956, in Rivera, Calif. He was an employee of Windstream Communications, former member of Pleasant Grove Volunteer Fire Department, member of Border Masonic Lodge, Hella Shrine and First Baptist Church, Wake Village, Texas, and an Air Force veteran. <br />Survivors include his wife, Carol Dawson of Texarkana; one son and daughter-in-law, Nicholas and Rachel Dawson of Denton, Texas; one daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Kevin Little of Bossier City, La.; three brothers, Marvin Dawson of Levelland, Texas, Gary Dawson of Brownfield, Texas, and Charles Dawson of Clyde, Texas; one sister, Connie Corby of Salina, Kan.; four grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church, Wake Village, with the Rev. Scott Neathery officiating.
