DE QUEEN, Ark.—Alvin David “Butch” Wright Jr., 70, of De Queen died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2009, in a Texarkana hospital. <br />Mr. Wright was born March 1, 1938, in Aurora, Ill. He was retired from maintenance at De Queen Medical Center, a Baptist and an Army veteran. <br />Survivors include his wife, Pat Davis Wright of De Queen; one son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Linda Brew of Olathe, Colo.; one daughter and son-in-law, Brandi and Shawn Smith of Mena, Ark.; two sisters, Carolyn Pope of Broken Bow, Okla., and Brenda Trejo of Lone Star, Texas; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Chandler Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Hebert officiating. Burial will be in Section Cemetery, Athens, Ark. <br />Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br />Online registration is at www.chandlerfuneral.com. <br /> <br />
