HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas—David Charles Landers, 69, of Avinger, Texas, died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2009, at his home. <br />Mr. Landers was born May 20, 1939, in Dallas. He was the owner of Dallas Professional Security Inc., a member of Police and Sheriff Association and a Baptist. <br />Survivors include his wife, Dale of Avinger; three sons, David W. Landers of Dallas, Chris Lyles of Jacksonville, Fla., and Bobby Lyles of Irving, Texas; one daughter, Lisa McRorey of Dallas; three sisters, Norma Campbell of Hughes Springs, Sharon Pults of Euless, Texas, and Betty Stamm of Joshua, Texas; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Reeder-Davis Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Rawlins officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park. <br />Visitation will be 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br />Online registration is at www.reeder-davis.com. <br /> <br />
