JAMES BELLEW

KINGWOOD, Texas—James Willard Bellew, 85, of Kingwood died Monday, Jan. 27, 2009, in Kingwood. <br />Mr. Bellew was born Dec. 16, 1923, in Genoa, Ark. He was preceded in death by one son, Bryan Stanley Bellew; and one granddaughter, Jamie Bellew. <br />Survivors include his wife, Edna Blanche Bellew; one son, James M. Bellew of New Caney, Texas; three daughters, Rosemary Gail Frost of Joaquin, Texas, Blanche Evelyn Spurgeon of Huffman, Texas, and Teresa Robertson; two brothers, Ortho Ray Bellew of Texarkana and Robert Lee Bellew; two sisters, Beatrice Edmonds of Shreveport, La., and Arlene Bettancourt of Orange, Texas; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services were Friday at Kingwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Roger Hoots officiating.
