LAWRENCE DEATON

ASHDOWN, Ark.—Lawrence Deaton, 71, of Ashdown died Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2009, in Ashdown. <br />Mr. Deaton was born July 6, 1937, in Ashdown. He was a member of Assembly of God. He was preceded in death by his wife, Madie Deaton. <br />Survivors include two daughters, Angela Johnson and Tammy Jones of Ashdown; three brothers, Dan Payne, Fred Payne and Burnice Payne; five sisters, Mildred Glover, Ada Ruth Russell, Francis Jones, Christine Hendrix and Ola Mae Summerelle; and one grandchild. <br />Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Assembly of God, Ashdown, with the Rev. Don Deloney officiating. Burial will be in Ashdown Cemetery under direction of Madden Funeral Services. <br />Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. <br /> <br />
