DAVID JONES

NEW BOSTON, Texas—David Lee Jones, 50, of New Boston died Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2009, at his home. <br />Mr. Jones was born Dec. 27, 1958, in Texarkana, Texas. He was an inspector with Cooper Tire and Rubber Co., a member of United Rubber Workers Local 452 and a Baptist. <br />Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Jones of New Boston; one daughter, Jessica Brown of DeKalb, Texas; one son, Zach Jones of DeKalb; one stepdaughter, Kelli Barnett of DeKalb; one stepson, Broz Powell of DeKalb; his father, Max Jones of New Boston; two brothers, Rusty Jones of Maud, Texas, and Brian Jones of Fouke, Ark.; one sister, Sandy Carr of New Boston; five grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church with Ken Cox, David Boone and Hubert Simpson officiating. Burial will be in Ringwood Cemetery under direction of Bates-Rolf Funeral Home. <br />Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br />Online registration is at www.batesrolffuneralhome.com. <br /> <br />
