KENNETH VANN

HOPE, Ark.—Kenneth D. Vann, 87, of Hope died Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2009, in a local hospital. <br />Mr. Vann was born Feb. 18, 1921, in the Rocky Mound community. He was a retired pipefitter. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorene Vann. <br />Survivors include one daughter, Paula Billings of Mansfield, Texas; one son, Kelly Vann of Hope; three brothers, Travis Vann and Donald Vann of Magnolia, Ark., and Larry Vann of Crossroads, Texas; one granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Brittnie and Jeff Wilbanks of Hoover, Ala.; two great-grandsons, Jonah Wilbanks and Jadon Wilbanks; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Bethany Baptist Church, Spring Hill, Ark., with Perry Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Cemetery under direction of Herndon-Pharr Funeral Home. <br />Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br />Online registration is at www.pharrfuneralhomes.com. <br /> <br />
