ODELL WHITLEY

HOPE, Ark.—Odell Whitley, 93, of Hope died Sunday, Feb. 22, 2009, in Hope. <br />Mrs. Whitley was born Feb. 12, 1916, in Nevada County, Ark. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Olin Whitley; two sons, Wayne Whitley and Charles “Chuck” Whitley; and one great-grandson, Logan Whitley Medlen. <br />Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Gerald and Carolyn Whitley; four granddaughters, Melissa Hopkins, Hannah Addington, Tony Hicks and Mandy McKamie; two grandsons, Rusty Whitley and Jeremy Whitley; two special nephews, Lloyd Pollock of Little Rock and Floyd Pollock of Fayetteville, Ark.; nine great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Graveside services will be 10 a.m. today in Memory Gardens Cemetery with Jerry Stroud officiating.
