AARON BROWN SR.

Aaron C. Brown Sr., 59, of Texarkana, Texas, died Monday, Feb. 23, 2009, at his home. <br />Mr. Brown was born Nov. 20, 1949, in Texarkana. He was an elevator operator and a member of Mount Zion First Missionary Baptist Church. <br />Survivors include his wife, Thelma Brown of Texarkana; four sons, Aaron Brown Jr., Chris Brown, Michael Brown and Anthony Brown of Texarkana; four daughters, Shelia Thompson, Lavern Brown, Cosetta Brown and Ashley Sanders of Texarkana; four brothers, Roy Dunn of Camden, Ark., and Harold Brown, Tommy Ray and Donnell Ray of Texarkana; five sisters, Ollie J. Ford of Camden and Ida B. Allen, Vernice Ray, Melba Wright and Debra Rembert of Texarkana; 16 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Mount Zion First Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. B.J. Rembert officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens under direction of Richardson Hill Funeral Home. <br />Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br /> <br />
