BETTY SHIELDS

Betty Sue Shields, 64, of Texarkana, Ark., died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2009, in a local nursing home. <br />Mrs. Shields was born Aug. 15, 1944, in Leesville, La. She was a member of Mandeville Baptist Church. <br />Survivors include her husband, William Shields of Texarkana; one daughter, Robin Rasberry of Texarkana; one son, William Shannon Shields of Ferris, Texas; one sister, Peggy Gore of Texarkana; three brothers, Melvin Dale Jeane of Cleburne, Texas, and Jerry Jeane and David Jeane of Texarkana; one stepsister, Joyce Reed of Texarkana; one stepbrother, Royce Townsend of Texarkana; three grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Graveside services will be 10 a.m. today at East Memorial Gardens with the Rev.
