E.M. PARKER

E.M. “Rusty” Parker, 82, of Fouke, Ark., died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2009, at his home. <br />Mr. Parker was born Jan. 7, 1927, in Garland, Ark. She was a Methodist and a World War II Navy veteran. He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Jennifer Carpenter; and one great-grandson, Michael Carpenter. <br />Survivors include his wife, Mable Dean Stockton Parker of Fouke; one daughter, Patricia Anderson of Sarasota, Fla.; three sons, Monte Parker of Cibolo, Texas, Glen Parker of Fouke and Charlie Parker of Houston; one brother, Donald Parker of Shreveport, La.; two sisters, Irene Stockton of Greer, S.C., and Ruth Wingfield of Mena, Ark.; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at East Funeral Home, Downtown, with the Rev. Clydell Crawford officiating. <br />Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br />Memorials may be made to the V.A.
