LAURENE MILES

Laurene “Peaches” Miles, 70, of Texarkana, Ark., died Saturday, Feb. 21, 2009, at her home. <br />Mrs. Miles was born Jan. 29, 1939, in Garland, Ark. She was retired from Red River Army Depot and a member of Lonoke Baptist Church. <br />Survivors include one daughter, Cheryl Miles Williams of Texarkana; four sisters and one brother-in-law, Charlene and Donell Mitchell of Seattle, Lorice Williams of Los Angeles and Bennie Bonner and Sammy Bonner of Richmond, Calif.; two special friends, Validean Sims and Patsy Warren of Texarkana; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Park Avenue Baptist Church with Elvis Scott officiating. Burial will be in East Memorial Gardens under direction of Lyles Funeral Home. <br />Visitation will be 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br /> <br />
