NOVELL LOCKETT

TYLER, Texas—Novell Lockett, 70, of Grand Prairie, Texas, died Friday, Feb. 20, 2009, at her home. <br />Mrs. Lockett was born Oct. 13, 1938, in Omaha, Texas. She was a member of Omaha First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband and two daughters. <br />Survivors include two sons, Roy Lockett Jr. of Balch Springs, Texas, and Michael J. Lockett of Garland, Texas; five daughters, Chianne Lockett, Anetta White, Della Weatherspoon, Annie L. Addis of Grand Prairie, and Carry M. Boyd of Seagoville, Texas; her mother, Narcissie Johnson; one brother, R.J. Johnson of Naples, Texas; five sisters, Cubie Crawford of Dallas, Maurice Johnson of Miami, Winnie Reed and Shirley Anderson of Fort Worth, Texas, and Thelma Johnson of Omaha, Texas; 21 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be noon Saturday at Omaha First Baptist Church with the Rev. Elvin Augustus officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery under direction of Harmon Funeral Home. <br />The body may be viewed noon to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br /> <br />
